Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. It is carbon crystallised in the same structure as a mined diamond, with the same hardness and sparkle. The only difference is where it grew, and we always say so.
How does a custom piece work?
Choose a piece and change anything, or send us a sketch or a photo. Within 24 hours you get a photoreal design preview of your exact piece with a firm price. You approve it, our maker in India makes it by hand, and it ships to your door.
Can I see it on my own hand?
Yes. When you send your design, tick "Show it on me" and send a photo of your hand, or your wrist, ear or neckline for other pieces. Your preview then shows the piece on you, so you can judge the size and the look before anything is made.
Can I see the price before I ask?
Yes. Design your piece and the price updates as you choose the stone, the metal, the size and the engraving. US duties, insured shipping and the certificate are included in what you see.
Which gold should I choose: 10k, 14k, 18k or 22k?
The higher the karat, the more gold and the richer the colour. 10k is the hardest and palest. 14k is the everyday favourite. 18k has the classic rich colour. 22k is the deepest yellow, traditional in India, and softer, so we recommend it for bands; for stones held in prongs, 18k holds better. White gold looks the same at every karat because it is plated; platinum is naturally white and the most durable.
Will the wedding band fit next to my engagement ring?
Our bridal sets are designed together, so the band sits flush against the ring. If you already have an engagement ring, send us a photo from the side and we will make a contour band shaped to it.
Is the preview a photo of the real piece?
No, and it is always labelled "design preview". It shows what will be made. The pictures on this website are design renders too.
How long does it take?
Your piece is made in 10 to 15 business days after you approve the preview, then takes up to 7 business days to reach your door: four to five weeks in all. You get tracking the day it ships.
Which certificate comes with the stone?
Every centre stone comes with an IGI report, the most common certificate for lab-grown diamonds. If you prefer a GIA report, choose it when you design your piece; it adds a little to the price and a few days.
What is the hidden vow?
One tiny diamond set inside the band, next to a few words you choose. Only the wearer knows it's there. It is included on every ring.
How do I pay?
Once you approve your preview, we email you a secure payment link. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see your card details, and nothing is made until your payment comes through.
What does the price include?
The piece, the certificate, the hidden vow on rings, insured shipping and the US import duty. Nothing more to pay at the door.
Do you ship to the US?
Yes. The US is where we start. Import duty is part of the price we show you, not a surprise at the door.
What if I don't know my ring size?
We send a free ring sizer when you approve your preview, before anything is made.
Can I change my mind after approving?
Changes are free until we start making the piece. After that, it's being made only for you.
