Terms of sale
The plain-English terms that apply when you order from AVOW.
1. Who we are
AVOW is a brand of Ben's business name, address and province, Canada ("we", "us"). , or contact us by email at the AVOW email address.
2. Our pieces
- Every piece is made to order for you, by hand, after you approve it.
- Every diamond and gemstone we sell is lab-grown. A lab-grown diamond has essentially the same optical, physical and chemical properties as a mined diamond.
- Pictures on this website are design renders, not photos of finished pieces. Your preview shows your exact design. Being handmade, the finished piece can differ very slightly in proportions.
- Carat weights are as stated on the stone's grading report.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars and include US import duty and insured shipping to the United States.
- Prices on the website are indicative. The firm price comes with your preview.
- You pay through a secure Stripe payment link that we send after you approve your preview. We never see your card details.
- Your order is confirmed when your payment arrives.
4. Making and delivery
Making takes 10 to 15 business days, then up to 7 business days to ship. Full details are in Shipping and returns.
5. Cancellations, returns and remakes
Because every piece is made to order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it doesn't match what you approved, we remake it or refund you in full. See Shipping and returns.
6. Warranty
Manufacturing defects are covered by the AVOW Limited Warranty.
7. Engraving and custom details
We engrave exactly the text you approve, so please check spelling and dates in your preview. Custom designs you send us stay yours. We only use them to make your piece.
8. Our responsibility
Limit of liability: wording to come from the lawyer. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of where you live.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in the United States, you keep any rights your state's consumer laws give you.
